Bunny Care Basics🐰
Housing: Provide a spacious, well-ventilated enclosure with solid flooring. Include hiding spots, bedding (like paper-based litter), and room to hop.
Diet: Fresh hay (like timothy) should make up 80% of their diet. Add leafy greens daily and offer limited pellets and treats (no sugary stuff!).
Water: Fresh, clean water available at all times—bottles or bowls are fine as long as they’re cleaned daily.
Grooming: Brush regularly to prevent fur mats and hairballs. No baths—bunnies clean themselves!
Exercise & Enrichment: Let them out for daily playtime in a bunny-proofed area. Provide chew toys, tunnels, and plenty of stimulation.
Health: Spay/neuter your rabbit and get regular vet checkups with an exotic vet. Watch for signs of illness like not eating, lethargy, or changes in droppings.
Companionship: Bunnies are social animals—consider bonding with another rabbit or make sure they get lots of human interaction.
